Dr. Willie J.Swain, II took advantage of relatively low-interest rates and increase in commerical kitchen space now available as a result of the surge in recent restaurant closures. He was able to secure an ideal location in Stone Mountain to commence his venture "Uncle Willie's Soul Food and Cakes. Secure, ample parking and great food is what Uncle Willie's Soul Food and Cakes is serving up.

I want to deliver quality food with class and respect while providing stellar customer service, said Willie J.Swain II. "I also want to use enterpreneurship to create opportunities for our young people and those in need of life skills training. Uncle Willie's will be a community resource dedicated to service and doing good Black business."

Welcome to Uncle Willie's Soul Food & Cakes

After spending 15 years baking cakes out of his home and catering weddings and other special events while holding down a full-time job as an educational support administrator for a metro Atlanta school district, Willie J. Swain II, aka Uncle Willie's Soul Food and Cakes of Stone Mountain is ready to seize this moment to realize his dream of his own soul food place.

Continuing the tradition, he decided to share his masterful soul food dishes with the world. He is a raising business in our community and will be a mainstay for years to come.
